My experience using Invideo

When I first got access to Invideo, it was a much younger and less developed app. At the time I was almost disappointed. However, I’m glad I kept my account, because Invideo has grown by leaps and bounds since then.

Since I discovered some of the newer features, I’ve been using Invideo every week. My favorite way to use it is for making YouTube shorts, which it can do fast and easily without showing my face or using my voice.

It’s very rare that I use any marketing video app without running into at least a couple issues, but Invideo only gave me a small problem once, and support resolved it immediately.

With 60 video exports per month, you can make up to 2 videos per day! This is more than enough for most businesses’ needs, but if you’re a video marketing agency you might need unlimited.

Unlimited Plan

The unlimited plan costs $24 per month if paid annually and $48 per month if paid monthly. It includes the following:

Invideo Tutorial – How Do I Use Invideo?

Invideo is pretty intuitive if you’ve used other video software in the past. There’s also a ton of training included in the dashboard, but I’ll walk you through the basics right now.

1. Sign up for Invideo and log in.
2. Select either pre-made templates, text-to-video, or blank canvas.
3. Choose the format of video you want to create (horizontal, square, or vertical).
4. Build or edit each scene in the video timeline, adding assets as you go.
5. Export the video in 1080p or 720p.
6. Wait for it to render, then download the video and get marketing!

My personal favorite way to use Invideo is using the text-to-video feature to make short vertical videos for YouTube shorts. It saves me a ton of time and energy and makes really appealing videos.

Invideo Alternatives

If you like the idea of Invideo but try it and find it’s not for you, there are a few other apps out there with similar functionality.

Viddyoze

Viddyoze doesn’t have nearly as many features, but it is great for creating short animations and things like logo stingers and lower thirds. However Viddyoze does not include an editor or most of the other great benefits of Invideo.

DoodleMaker

DoodleMaker is a doodle video clip app, so it is limited to whiteboard and blackboard style videos. It has some of the same features as Invideo, including automated AI voiceovers. However for overall usefulness and speed, Invideo is the clear winner.

Lumen5

Lumen5 is used for turning content such as a blog post into a video more or less on autopilot. Lumen will import your text and photos and automatically turn it into social media videos. Lumen is not as good for video creators who want flexibility and creativity, but it has a good user experience for those who just want to turn blog posts into video content.

Conclusion: Should you buy Invideo?

If you’re looking for a new video maker, this is an excellent option. However, if you want to do heavy editing of professional videos, then other programs on the market will be better suited to meet those needs.

Invideo has been in development for many years and it shows both in its customer service and how easy-to-use all of the features are.
