A free consultation might sound as though it comes with some strings attached. When you talk to me or a member of my team, I assure you that won’t be the case. It’s true that some marketers use free calls as a “foot in the door” tactic so they can hard-sell their services. I really dislike that.
When I or one of my colleagues gets on a call with a potential client, we have a single focus; to provide as much value and actionable information as possible. We will spend a little time getting to know you and your goals, but the lion’s share of the time will be spent assessing your business and advising potential next steps to grow it.
You might be wondering, how can we do that and still make money? It’s pretty simple. Even if we could explain everything you need to know in perfect detail in a thirty minute call, would you want to do it all yourself? Or would you want to hire the experts to work with you side by side?
Neither of those is the wrong answer, but the truth is it’s pretty rare that we can communicate an entire marketing strategy on an initial call. Whether you’re interested in having us teach you or handle everything for you, the end result is the same. We work together.
Who Are Free Consultations For?
Free consultations with me and my team are reserved for folks who are serious about starting or growing their business. If you’re just looking to make some quick cash or start a side hustle, you probably won’t be interested in making a serious investment in your business. That doesn’t mean you won’t be successful, but we only aim to work with committed entrepreneurs.
How Does It Work?
Most digital marketers only have access to a limited toolbox. To paraphrase a saying, when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. A common issue is that some marketing professionals will try to shoehorn new clients into the services that best suit their expertise.
This will never be the case with me. But that doesn’t mean I’ll turn you away if I feel we’re not a good match. Instead I’ll recommend the most suitable candidate from my growing referral network.
You see, I don’t believe that business is a zero sum game. Instead of considering other marketers my competition, I often reach out to them to form professional relationships.
